About the Property:

Munsiyari is a “little Kashmir” nestled in the beauteous terrains of the Kumaon mountains. A little hamlet, which is the last connect with civilization before the discerning mountain lover turns toward the majestic Panchachuli peaks, Munsyari is so close to the snow capped peaks, one could almost touch them.

The Himalayan Glamping Retreat is the first offering of its kind that aims to provide understated luxury in such remoteness.

Munsiyari’s rustic setting compels one to steer clear of high-rise concrete structures and instead, soak in its vast experience through glamping. Glamping or glamorous camping has come of age that seeks to combine the thrills of camping with the comforts of a luxury hotel.

The Himalayan Glamping Retreat endeavours to provide homely – and to an extent – urban comforts, at 9000 feet above sea level – from fluffy beds and warm duvets to hot showers and gourmet meals. With their spa and trout farm, you will get pampered by them to the core.

The Himalayan Glamping retreat offers elegantly appointed luxury tent style cottages, each with a stunning view of the Panchachuli range, equipped with every comfort of luxury of city hotels, set in the silence of a verdant forest.

Walk through the forests, gaze upon the timeless snow peaks, and get a warm welcome at the retreat, where rusticity meets luxury, in a seamless blend. You will fall in love.

Rooms:

The retreat has 7 luxury tented cottages that are beautifully appointed with wooden architecture amongst loads of greenery and water streams.

With all the luxuries of a city hotel, the cottages come with comfortable beds, large and well-equipped bathrooms with running hot water and all other amenities for guest comfort.

Cottages have a veranda with views of the mighty Panchachuli ranges. Enjoy a drink or sip a cup of tea in the foot of Himalayas.

The rooms have heating facility. Hot water bags keep the bed warm to ensure that you sleep well.

Things to do:

  • Bird watching
  • Trekking
  • Nature Walk
  • Bonfire
  • Board games – Chess, Ludo, Uno etc.
  • Fishing
  • Kids can play in campgrounds

Food:

The Retreat’s ‘den’ is, however, the classy restaurant area with fabulous views of the Panchachuli range at hand shaking distance

You will be amazed that you will be served with multi cuisine at such a remote location. The chef can serve Indian, Thai, Korean, Chinese, Italian, Contenental and authentic local Kumaon cuisine. The food is tasty, delicious and bursting with flavor and freshness.

A day would be full of 5 course meals with all different variety and cooked with much care.
